News

In honor of Homer and Jethro's induction into the country music hall of fame in 2001, you can pick up a copy of their CD "The Best of Homer and Jethro, Hall of Fame 2001" from Amazon. They also carry "America's Song Butchers: The Weird World of Homer and Jethro". The "Hall of Fame" CD has a number of their earlier songs on it but the quality is not the best. They did not clean up the old tracks very well. I will still recommend it to those who are fans and who want to see what they sounded like near the beginning. The "Song Butchers" CD is a great one and has many of their classic hits on it.That's about all on the music front currently on CD. You can occasionally find old albums on Ebay.

Here is a photo sent in by Snap Munson. Snap's dad Bert, shown in the middle, produced a number of policeman's benefits involving many famous country stars. Mr. Munson passed away not too long ago and Snap kindly gave permission for me to use this photograph of Bert, Homer, and Jethro at a performance.
